Kalu said Abaribe was little-minded to think he is ashamed of his prison experience, adding that it is strange that the senator he “picked from the gutters” and made Deputy Governor supplied petitions to his conspirators.
Kalu was on a state visit to Niger State to commiserate with the state government and the parents of the student that was slayed by the bandits during the invasion of the Government Science College Kagara that led to the abduction of 27 students.
It, therefore, ordered that the charge in suit No. FHC/ABJ/CR/26/2017, which EFCC entered against Kalu and his co-defendants, should be remitted back to Chief Judge of the Federal High Court for re-assignment to any other judge for the trial to commence de-novo (afresh).
The best way Dr Orji Uzor Kalu can reciprocate the immense goodwill, respect and honour given to him by Nigerians is to heed to this call to contest the 2023 presidential election. We hope he will make it to the number one position in Nigeria and chart a new course for our nation through purposeful and selfless leadership. ”
