In a bid to quench the hunger in the land according to the donor, the austerity measure introduced by the Federal Government has not done any good to Nigerians but impoverishing Nigerians. The Adeleke family of Edeland, Osun west senatorial district has dolled out food stuffs to their district.
In appreciating the gesture, the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Iwo local government and all members of the party under the leadership Hon. Sefiu Apesin has sent a note of appreciation to the Adeleke Dynasty for their support to the party and Osun indigenes at large. Apesin sent appreciation message immediately after receiving 150 bags of rice and to be distributed across the fifteen ward quarters in Iwo local government.
Alhaji Sulaiman Akanji Bello, popularly known as SEE BEE, a chieftain of the party, whose hotel’s hall was used to house the rice before distribution equally appreciated the magnanimity of the Adelekes and urged all Iwo indigenes to return to their various wards to go and meet with their ward leaders for the distribution.
Bello said the party is taking note of the generosity of the Adeleke’s, as they have been regular in lending their helping hands to the people of Osun.
He stressed that the people will be ready to reciprocate the same gestures at the appropriate time.
