Ayodeji Bello lauds Adeoye, former Senatorial leader’s appointment as the Iwo PDP caretaker chairman

Engr Lukman Ayodeji Bello, a leading aspirant for the position of House of Representatives in Ayedire/Iwo/Ola-oluwa under the platform of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has on Saturday, April 16, congratulated the former Senatorial leader of the party, Alhaji Halidu Adeoye for his emergence as the caretaker chairman for the party in Iwo local government.

“At a time when PDP needs a brave, committed and experienced leader who understands the nitty-gritty of politics, it’s a blessing to have a committee headed by personality such as Alhaji Halidu.”

Adeoye’s emergency was following the expiration of tenure of Osun PDP state and local government executive council, Iwo local government chapter of the party has constituted caretaker committee to chart a new course in the party.

In a release issued and signed by Oladipupo Sefiu, media aide to Ayodeji, described the selection of Halidu as a round peg in a round hole citing him as a great mobilizer who has achieved tremendous record in the political landscape of Osun during his reign as Osun west Senatorial leader.

He also applauded the inclusion of Alhaja Amoo Afusat and Hon. Amoo Oyeniyi Olaewe as members of the committee saying their membership has brightened the chance of the PDP in the forthcoming Osun State governorship election.
