Report from the Director-General of Ghana Health Service, Patrick Kuma Aboagye as of Friday, July 31,2020 indicates that 359 persons have tested positive for covid-19 in Ghana, bringing the total number to 35,501.
According to him in a press briefing,the new cases were reported on 28th July,2020 from samples taken between 16th to 27th July 2020. More also,he said as it stands,seven(7) more persons have died, increasing the death toll from 175 to 182.
The country’s active cases currently has dropped to 3,223 with 32,090 persons fully recovered from the deadly virus according to Dr. Patrick Kuma Aboagye.
The new COVID-19 cases were reported from 41 districts in 10 regions. The Eastern Region recorded the highest number of new cases with 112.
Meanwhile,Greater Accra and Central region comes next with 68 and 64 cases respectively.
Over 390,000 tests have been conducted for the virus so far.
