Mixed reactions as Taa’wun erects a ‘gigantic-little’ but a very beautiful mosque at the centre of Iwo

Oluwo had earlier set up a committee for the revival of the Iwo central mosque some weeks ago, the so much Ilu Alfa's central mosque is not up to the standard of the toilet of the central mosque in a town where they worship Osun river regularly in the state.

Hehehe, Pékélé-Pekèlè, àrà mee rírí n’ìlú Iwo AKA What Has My Great Taa’wun Done Again?

First of all, Kudos to the Taa’wun for bringing two important personalities to our city in a day. Bringing a former governor and the architect of modern day Osogbo (Now a minister) and a current governor to Iwo same day, that’s huge even though they passed through the most beautiful Iwo-Osogbo road that has been rated worldwide as the best road constructed by Engineers.

It was even an avenue to end the feud and brawl between the two Politicians that has been lingering for so long, even an Agba Osun, a whole father to all of us could not end the fight way back at Orangun. Those boys were even pressing phones in front of Baba,Wow. Ija ti pari… A dúpẹ́ oooo

Well, why are people having a contrary opinion about the ‘Symbolic Mosque’?

Well, first of all, Taawun has been a great service to Iwoland, it boasts of a secondary and tertiary school in Iwo that has been giving back to community. They even have a central mosque at Òkè-afo, Iwo.

That is the only mosque that offer Juma’at service at 3pm, if you’ve missed a Juma’at at your favourite mosque, be rest assured you can visit Taa’wun even though the sermon is always about how Ogbeni is the best ever governor in West Africa and how PMB should use 10 more years so as to be chanced to shoot more Endsarsers.

So, briefly, the impact of Taawun is known in our town. Lest I forget to tell you Taawun grades the road that’s in a sorry condition along govt quarters that leads to their school, I think annually or so, a project which the local govt of my town have not done for once, even though all the tenants therein pay to the pockets of the local govt. It is the only estate in Nigeria being owned by a local government but Taawun is the one rehabilitating the road for us. Oh my dear Taawun.

So i think the organization out of their benevolence decide to move their good gestures to the market women also.

Oluwo had earlier set up a committee for the revival of the Iwo central mosque some weeks ago, the so much Ilu Alfa’s central mosque is not up to the standard of the toilet of the central mosque in a town where they worship Osun river regularly in the state.

I guess the admins of Taawun were not part of the committee because the rebranding of the old central mosque should have been a priority rather than the mosque that can not contain 100 people comfortably especially people with big Tummy.

But again, let us consider the market sellers also. Moreover, the mosques are just a stone throw far from each other.

The mosque that is erected at the centre of the market has sent many sellers away from the spot but gives them a way to move closer to God to pray for their sales after finding another location. A better sales in their market generates good economic factor to Iwo land don’t you think about that?

The most beautiful mosque in Iwo is even along an un-tarred road where it is one of the places with less attention in the city. Yet it was a plus and glory for the family/company that built it.

Oh, there’s another reason why something else like a market-worthy building like pure water factory, bakery was not built there. Iwo, worldwide is known for two symbolic things, the Parrot and the Alfaism(Islam).

Now in the centre of our town, there’s a Parrot sitting on top of the arc and now our Taawun has added the Islamic mosque at the area, which is why it is called the ‘Symbolic Mosque’. Wow we are global now. Iwo ìlú alfa is now a visible mantra. These are one of the foresight many of you did not see.

In matter-of-factly, I wish a parrot symbol should be erected on the mosque to even complete everything… Chai, astagafurilahi.

But if there’s no reason, a female child wouldn’t be christened ‘Kumolu’. The reason the parallelogram-shaped mosque was built on a ‘1-acre’ of land where sellers used to stay in the market square are the aforementioned ones.

I only pray CAN should not plan to buy a land where my crush sell ponmo in that area to build a symbolic church also… Ẹ jor tori Ọlọhun ooo

So people who see no reason for a mosque to be built in such location should keep mum henceforth or send their complaints to whyAmosqueInThatPlace@Taawunonline.net

I specially Congratulate Iwo on this achievement especially the market people who now have all the opportunities to pray to God while still doing their businesses.

Greaaaat Taawun….. Great!!!
